Our Market is now  open daily, 10am - 6pm.

Getting ready for another season in 2010.....

Daisy goose and Gertie and Gwendlyn goats are really enjoying the warmer weather and are looking forward to seeing you again real soon.  The apple trees had great blossoms and 'set' and we are now thinning out the crop to ensure even crop load.  Farmer Bert is busy now with orchard activites like , fertilizing, summer pruning, mowing, and spraying.

We are very excited about some projects we are working on right now!  We are always looking to improve and expand our offerings to you, and this year we have decided to focus on our play area and where we pick-up for the pumpkin wagon rides!

  FARM MARKET

Open August through December, Frootogo’s “Souptogo” offers many types of homemade soups, stews and chowders with the ever popular Cheddar Bay Biscuits.   The market also carries jams, jellies, preserves, veggies, squash, and sweet apple cider and all the fall décor.  Our bakegoods are also offered 'prepared' and frozen for you to take home and bake at your convience.  Included in this is our homemade meat pie.  People just can't say enough about this hearty homemade meal.  It includes 4 lbs of filling (chicken, beef, and pork, with savoury vegetables) in homemade pasty, served with gravy. (for more pictures, click on farm market link above)

You will not find our quality bakegoods and farm products in any store.  All of our crops and market items are sold on our farm, therefore we get to meet you and your family personally and ensure you recieve the quality you deserve and expect.

Frootogo in Your community...

We love our community and every year we try and give back as much as we can.  In 2009, we were able to donate fresh apples to the following: 12,000 lb to Good Sheppard,  5000 lb to Christian Gleaner, and 100 lb to Parkinson Super Walk.  We also have donated bakery goods to Drummond house.  These are just some of the ways we like to help out in our local community.

oxo-bio logoYou will be pleased to know we use oxo-biodegradable plastic bags for your purchases.  Revolutionary TDPA technology allows polyethylene to biodegrade and can be reused, recycled, and will biodegrade in landfills.

These bags are made in Canada and purchased locally.  For more information click here.

We welcome cyclists to our farm!  We offer bicycle parking and have a bike repair kit available.  Our farm is a great destination along Southern Ontario biking routes.  Enjoy a quick snack or take a leisurely break and use our facilities and experience the farm ambience.

We are featured by the Ontario Welcome Cyclists Network.  You can check out their website for great biking information.   http://www.welcomecyclists.ca/

We are partnering with MomsTown to offer Moms their own special day at Frootogo.  Every Wednesday in August through October is Moms day.  Come join other moms and kids for a fun day out.  There will be specials offered on those days and it is a great opportunity to network and socialize with neighboring moms.  Check out MomsTown website for more information and to start getting connected in your community!
